A New Look for a New Chapter – Why I Felt It Was Time to Rebrand Dusk Films

Paul Taylor

When you spend over two decades building something, it becomes more than just a business. It becomes part of who you are. This year marks an important milestone for Dusk Films. As we approach our 25th year of creating content, I found myself reflecting on where we started, where we are today, and more importantly, where we're going next. That reflection led to one big decision. It was finally time to give Dusk Films a new identity.

Why Change Something That Worked?

The original Dusk Films logo has been with us for many years. It's appeared on thousands of videos, websites, graphics and promotional material. For many people, it's instantly recognisable, and it represents countless memories, projects and friendships that have been built over the years. So why change it?Because Dusk Films has changed. When I started the company back in 2002, we were a very different studio. The internet was different. The adult industry was different. Cameras, editing software, distribution and the way audiences consumed content were all worlds apart from what they are today.Over the last twenty-five years we've constantly adapted. We've moved from physical media to digital downloads, from traditional websites to creator platforms, from standard definition to 4K production, and from simply making videos to building stories, characters and entire worlds. The logo, however, had stayed behind.

More Than a New Logo

A rebrand isn't about pretending to be a new company. It's about making your identity reflect who you have become. The new Dusk Films logo keeps the spirit of the original, but presents it in a cleaner, more modern way. It's designed to work everywhere—from websites and social media to video intros, motion graphics and merchandise.it feels cinematic. It feels confident. Most importantly, it feels like the Dusk Films of today, not the Dusk Films of twenty years ago.

A Website Built for the Future

The logo wasn't the only thing that needed updating. Our previous website had served us well, but like any long-running project, it had gradually grown over time. Information had been added, pages had evolved and the overall experience no longer reflected the quality of work we were producing. The new website has been designed from the ground up to be clearer, faster and easier to navigate.

Whether you're:

  • Looking to collaborate with us,

  • Interested in our production services,

  • Wanting to learn more about the team,

  • Curious about our original projects,

  • Or simply discovering Dusk Films for the first time,

the new site tells our story far better than the old one ever could.

Still Independent. Still Creative.

One thing that hasn't changed is our philosophy.Since day one, Dusk Films has always been an independent production company. We write our own productions. We perform in them.We shoot them.We edit them.We build our own brands, characters and stories entirely in-house.We've never tried to become the biggest studio. We've always wanted to become the best version of ourselves. That independence has allowed us to experiment, evolve and continue doing things our own way, even as the industry around us has changed dramatically. As our website explains, Dusk Films has grown from an adult content provider into a broader content creation studio, offering filming, editing and production services while continuing to develop our own original projects.

Looking Ahead

The next chapter is incredibly exciting. We're continuing to develop new productions, expand the Dusk Films universe, improve the quality of everything we create and work with more talented creators than ever before. This new branding represents that future. It's not about forgetting where we've come from. It's about acknowledging how far we've travelled.

To everyone who has supported Dusk Films over the last twenty-five years—whether you've appeared in front of the camera, worked behind it, collaborated with us or simply watched our work—thank you.You helped build what Dusk Films has become today. Here's to the next twenty-five years.
