We work with a wide variety of performers, ranging from brand-new first-time creators to highly established and widely published models. We enjoy discovering new talent as much as collaborating with experienced performers, as every individual brings their own personality, creativity, and unique style to a production.
Our primary focus is reality-based content, featuring believable storylines and natural performances designed to create immersive and engaging scenes. Each production is built around a structured concept that develops into an adult scenario, with an emphasis on authenticity, chemistry, and entertainment value.
Performers are expected to take part in light acting and scene development, although our productions are designed to remain relaxed and collaborative rather than heavily scripted. On the day of filming, we provide a clear outline of the storyline, scene direction, and progression of the shoot. There are no strict lines to memorise; instead, we work from flexible dialogue and scene guides that naturally move the production from one stage of the storyline to the next.
We actively encourage performers to contribute their own ideas, personality, and creativity to each project. Whether that involves adapting dialogue, suggesting scene ideas, or helping shape the overall tone of the production, we believe collaboration leads to more authentic and engaging content. Every performer brings something different to a scene, and we see each project as a shared creative process where individuality and natural performance are an important part of the final result.
What we look for
We regularly work with both experienced and first-time performers, providing a professional, supportive, and relaxed environment for those new to the industry. With over 20 years of experience, we understand how to guide performers through their first shoot with patience, clear communication, and professionalism.
Our productions are intentionally kept small and comfortable, usually involving only the male performer and camera operator on set. This creates a laid-back atmosphere that helps performers feel at ease, resulting in more natural performances and a positive filming experience for everyone involved.
We don't believe there's a single definition of attractiveness. That's why we work with legal adult performers of all ages, body types and appearances. Every performer has their own unique appeal, and every audience has different tastes.
By embracing diversity, we create authentic, realistic content that connects with a wide range of viewers. Rather than following a fixed "house style," we focus on showcasing each performer's individuality, allowing their personality and natural chemistry to shine through. We believe that's what creates the most genuine viewing experience and keeps our productions fresh, relatable and engaging.
Our signature style is POV/Gonzo-inspired filmmaking that blends professional production values with a natural, realistic look. We create well-lit content that feels genuine rather than over-produced. We work with legal adult performers of all ages, body types and appearances, because every performer offers something unique—and every audience has different tastes.
We are always interested in working with confident, open-minded performers who are professional, reliable, and comfortable working within a collaborative production environment.
For all shoots, performers are required to provide two forms of valid identification along with up-to-date HIV and STI testing certificates prior to filming. The health, safety, and comfort of everyone involved in our productions is extremely important to us. All male performers we work with are tested every 28 days or sooner. If a performer requires a stricter testing window, such as 14-day testing, this can be arranged in advance and all participants will be fully briefed prior to the shoot. Unless otherwise discussed, we operate on a standard 28-day testing policy.
Our productions typically run for approximately 3–4 hours, during which time we are usually able to film up to four separate video sets, depending on the style and complexity of the content being produced.
DUSK FILMS primarily operates within the North East of England. Most shoots take place on weekends or weekday evenings from 6pm onwards. Evening shoots are generally more suitable for performers travelling shorter distances, while performers travelling from London and surrounding areas are typically scheduled for weekend productions, usually beginning around midday.
Due to demand and ongoing production schedules, we maintain an active list of performers and collaborators we are interested in working with. We schedule shoots as fairly and efficiently as possible based on availability, production requirements, and timing. If a performer is unavailable for a proposed date, we will move to the next available collaboration and revisit scheduling at a later time where possible.
Please note that production schedules can become extremely busy, and at times we may be booked 2–3 months in advance. If there is a delay in arranging a shoot, we will contact you as soon as suitable dates become available.
What we are after
We like to hear from ALL models the night before a shoot
We also expect a text or phone call on the morning of the shoot when you are on your way.
If we don’t hear from you we will not set off to meet you.
If you cancel on us depending on the reason we are more than happy to arrange another shoot.
If you no show then you will not be contacted again, and won't be recommended by us if anyone asks

All male performers share performing & filming duties as we are all trained in both.
We shoot in our studio/office and/or apartments/hotels in the Darlington/Durham/ Newcastle area. One of us will meet you at the train station if you prefer and are traveling by rail.
